Per ZachXBT, Near Intents' BSC hot wallet was drained for $3.8M+ a few hours ago. Multiple irregular outflows detected, the hot wallet has since stopped processing transactions. Funds immediately bridged to Bitcoin via KuCoin.

A 60-year-old met someone online claiming to be an investment expert. He directed her to a fake crypto platform where she transferred funds multiple times between April and September. When the platform demanded another deposit to "prove she wasn't laundering money," she finally contacted police.

He contacted a broker named "Jimmy Green" on Telegram, who claimed his team had processed most of the $1.5B stolen in the Bybit hack and also moved $387M from the Bitget exploit. ZachXBT risked $3.5M of his own funds to gather intel in real time, tracing $12M+ in Bybit funds swapped across BTC → ETH → SOL → Tron.

The intelligence helped Tether freeze 442,000 USDT linked to the network.

He kept the thread private for months due to the sensitivity of the operation. Now that it's public, he's personally exposed himself to a Chinese organized crime syndicate with direct ties to a state-sponsored North Korean hacking group.

⚠️ JUST IN: SIM swapper who spent stolen crypto on gold grills and Dubai holidays jailed in London

Ajay Shinjin, 25, was sentenced today to 2.5 years at Inner London Crown Court for SIM-swapping four crypto holders in November 2021, stealing nearly £200K total. Police found four eSIM devices linked to the attacks. With the stolen funds he paid for gold teeth grills, luxury holidays in Dubai, and a high-end apartment.
