A Swedish ringleader on an Interpol Red Notice was caught hiding in the UAE while six of his associates were arrested simultaneously in Sweden. The network laundered $7.1M over 10 months using crypto to move and hide criminal proceeds linked to organized crime and contract killings.

Lam Chun-yin, 32, a China Construction Bank manager, accepted $470K in Tether between April and June 2022 to authenticate fake standby letters of credit worth $1.6B.
