Situation on Toretsk front: During the last two weeks Russian forces have made important advances west of the water channel between Druzhba and Ozarianivka taking control of several trenches in this area along the Balmutka river. During this last week the Russian forces managed to increase their control along the road between Dachne and Druzhba from where the Ukrainian army managed to infiltrate into the second locality. (Clarification: Dachne is the small village which on some maps is called “Krasnye Kolodtsy”, while the northernmost settlement is called Dyleevka, a village divided into two parts: one composed of farms and the other around the railway station).

Situation on Grodovskaya & Ilyinovskaya fronts: During the last four days Russian Army reached the first houses of Stara Mykolaivka & are trying to entrench in the locality. In addition, during the last three days Russian forces made new advances north of Zelene Pole & northeast of Vodyane Druhe. Meanwhile, the situation at Tarasivka was clarified: the northern houses of the locality remain under the control of Ukrainian Army while clashes with Russian troops are taking place at the northern warehouses.

❗️Ukrainian special services agent Ignat Kuzin, who planted a car bomb that killed Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalik, has been detained, the Russian FSB reports.

🇷🇺 🇫🇷 A report from the Russia 1 channel about a squad of French UAV pilots fighting in the Russian army. In total, 16 people from France are fighting on the side of the Russians.

The Chinese military has taken control of the Vietnamese island of Sand Cay in the South China Sea, in close proximity to a Philippine island that hosts a military base where American anti-ship missiles are deployed.

Currently the strategy of the Russian armed forces is to advance on the northern and southern flanks of Toretsk in order to gain fire control over the Ukrainian army's supply routes to the city. In case of success the Ukrainian reinforcement capacity will be diminished and this will definitely tip the balance to the Russian side. Up to now, they've only been used in the internationally recognised territory of the Russian Federation.
