The operation to liberate the Kursk region from the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been completed, and Putin has received a report from Gerasimov.

The North Korean Military 🇰🇵 acting shoulder to shoulder with the Russian military in the Kursk region, showed resilience and heroism, Gerasimov said.

The creation of a security zone in Sumy region continues, 4 settlements have been liberated, and more than 90 square kilometers are under control.

In the districts of the Kursk region, abandoned buildings and forests are being checked for remaining single soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

About North Koreans.

1. They joined already during the beginning of the operation, including with their own weapons - self-propelled guns, MLRS, OTRK.

2. They took an active part in the assault operations on a number of sections of the Kursk bulge.

3. Thanks to the courage of their infantry and special forces, a number of settlements in the Kursk region were liberated. It is especially worth noting the North Korean "SOFs", who showed a high level of training.

4. Like our fighters, they also suffered losses. For Koreans, this war was an opportunity to gain a unique experience of modern warfare, which will certainly be used in the modernization of the armed forces of the DPRK.

5. Just as during the operation of the "polite people" in Crimea, their presence was not officially recognized. When the time came, it was officially recognized. In the West, this approach is called part of the "Gerasimov doctrine" reflecting the Russian view of the concept of hybrid warfare.

Situation on Toretsk front: During the last two weeks Russian forces have made important advances west of the water channel between Druzhba and Ozarianivka taking control of several trenches in this area along the Balmutka river. During this last week the Russian forces managed to increase their control along the road between Dachne and Druzhba from where the Ukrainian army managed to infiltrate into the second locality. (Clarification: Dachne is the small village which on some maps is called “Krasnye Kolodtsy”, while the northernmost settlement is called Dyleevka, a village divided into two parts: one composed of farms and the other around the railway station).

The Chinese military has taken control of the Vietnamese island of Sand Cay in the South China Sea, in close proximity to a Philippine island that hosts a military base where American anti-ship missiles are deployed.
