Excerpt from "What Makes You Pagan" by CE

"Modern pagans often fail to emphasize our animist foundation. For example, that Thor is not merely associated with thunder nor does he simply wield it as a weapon; he is the thunder. This highlights how essential animism is to paganism's roots.

If all our lore were lost in a cataclysmβ€”or through a deliberate Abrahamic destructionβ€”new names for the Gods would inevitably re-emerge, just as they did in the beginning.

The Gods themselves are rooted in two things: the forces of nature and the memory of our ancestors. Thus, anyone who knows nothing of the old stories, but opens themselves to the spirits in the world around them, will naturally find their way back to a Pagan perspective, even if the names and terms are different."

Excerpt from "What Makes You Pagan" by CE

"I used to examine the various flowers blossoming around me. I looked at the veins in the petals, sometimes even under my little Fisher Price microscope. I noticed how the colors on the face of flower petals were iridescent in the sun. I loved how soft and silky flower petals are, and would even graze them gently across my lips to let the more sensitive skin feel the smooth softness of the petals.

Insects were a great interest and I was very happy to hold grasshoppers and crickets in my hands. There was a big fat toad who lived under the shrubs in the front whom I named Sam. I remember picking him up to bring to my dad to show him I’ve found Sam again.

What stands out to me in these memories is that I was a living resident of that space alongside these other living spirits who dwelt alongside of me. And, I really felt it."

Excerpt from "What Makes You Pagan" by CE

"The widespread and growing use of kosher and halal slaughter in Western nations is the most urgent animal welfare threat todayβ€”yet ritual abuse of animals in Orthodox Judaism and Islam is barely addressed at all. Although since there is currently backlash against the Palestinian genocide, this moment offers a rare window to call attention to other heinous acts perpetuated by Abrahamic ideology.

The concept of respect for animals is essential to the European Folk Soulβ€”and it’s exactly this ethical concern that keeps getting chipped away at by ideological manipulations and the left/right false dichotomy.

It’s crucial to recognize that respect for animals is a foundational part of our own indigenous worldview as Europeans."

Excerpt from "What Makes You Pagan" by CE

"The indigenous mythologies of all world peoples, including our own, are rife with animals as important characters in tales.

Indeed, the Gods themselves have their own animal companions who are known by name.

Compare this to Abrahamic ideology where animals are nameless non-entities… or worse.

Christianity often uses animals merely as symbols to reinforce the mono-deity aspect of the ideology. For instance, the lamb as a symbol for Christ. We don’t see a lamb as a companion of Christ with a name. The individual nature of the lamb is completely erased. It’s not a specific lamb, it’s a nameless any-lamb whose sole purpose is as an emblem of the uni-god.

One memorable scene in the New Testament depicts Yehshua bar Yusef riding a donkey. Does the donkey have a name? Does it serve any role other than a vehicle to carry the Christo human sacrifice?"

Excerpt from "What Makes You Pagan" by CE

"Animism is the foundation of Paganism. Fundamentally, first and foremost, we are animals living on Earth among other animals. Everything else is downstream from there. Our freedom to identify as unique ethnic groups, right to protect and preserve our identities, our shared genetics, and the cultural practice that bond us together are next on the pyramid of hierarchies.

Foundationally, the heinous cruelty to nature is one important ethical distinguishing characteristic of Abrahamism which Pagans should instinctively resist and actively oppose from our very core. Those who don’t feel this on a visceral level are enacting some kind of performative LARP of a religion under a Pagan costume."

"Tinkers and Tribalization" - an essay looking at Irish Travellers and other separatist groups to brainstorm survival strategies for ethnic European Pagan preservation.

Excerpt - "Irish Travellers have some group survival characteristics and practices which are worthy of studying.

The idea of a cant language for in-group communication which is mysterious to the outside world is one intriguing concept worthy of serious consideration.

We could take on board already burgeoning language movements like the Anglish language push.

However, anything that is in writing is discoverable by our hostile overlords. Perhaps a new secret script coupled with a robust oral tradition and memorization customs could assist here.

These are things that are more doable with an in-real-life, real world community."

"Tinkers and Tribalization" explores Irish Travellers and other separatist groups for insight on how we might separate as European pagan ethnic groups for survival.

With mysterious origins, there is reason to believe the Travellers may have been spurred to escape hostile foreign elite landowners.

Excerpt: "I could go more deeply into that hostile foreign regime. Like, for instance, the invading Norman elite’s suspicious alliance with Jewish bankers originating in medieval Rouen, France;

how the English aristocracy to this day retains strong Norman ancestry;

and how Cromwell, like William the Bastard, invited Jewish bankers back into England while terrorizing and enslaving the local inhabitants.

But, suffice it to say, I think we can learn something here. Are the things happening today unique in history?

Absolutely not. Same people, same maniacal aim of totalitarian control, same fight for independence and survival."
