State schools perform poorly in other words.

Yes State schools are on average no good or mediocre. It's so unfair, if only the State had more power or control to improve things 🤔.

Why do you think some parents send their children to other schools?

This is a feature of State schools not a bug.

Just like in State free lunches they would never give a snack of nuts (although healthy) - because some child somewhere might be allergic to them, etc....etc....

Society has to have consequences for these youngsters/children.
NZ law is too soft on them, especially if the skin colour doesn't match.

Oh yeah and believe it or not giving a free lunch in school has been tried with similar children in other countries (incl. a free breakfast in some) - doesn't work, it doesn't improve behaviour.

This is what happens when you think in terms of race/culture too much.

The bigger picture is about morals and what sort of NZ society we want to live in.

I digress, but this is Dapperlives pov - they like MMA.

But I agree with Taupo's observation, I too thought that punch, kick combo was weak. Just like in the movies 😂.

I like martial arts, and do find MMA interesting and it has really helped progress martial arts in terms of being practical.

But where I find a point of difference is that my martial arts teachers wouldn't train students like this. It's a #moral issue. They assess someones character early and if someone isn't right they push them out the door, directly or indirectly. I wouldn't train those types of students either.

Why would you teach a fighting art to someone with bad character?

MMA fighting is almost exclusively about fighting.
