🗣️ NYU REFUSING TO LET FACULTY HOST A DAY OF TEACH-INS

Tents have become so politicized. NYU, our campus with so many walls, is constantly policing public space — whether pushing for sweeps of our homeless neighbors, shutting down student protest, or (today) disrupting a completely non confrontational teach-in on campus. Ms. Mills sent her henchmen to dismantle a tent that was set up so that our community teachers could host a teach-in more comfortably.

NYU: what is so threatening about a tent? Why must you continually support and reproduce systems of apartheid? Why are you holding so tightly to your investments in genocide?
