Today, Gnome 45 is part of the official Arch Linux repositories, so it is also available for update on Nyarch Linux.
Some of the main features of Nyarch Linux such as Material UwU and Nyarcmenu are not available yet on Gnome 45, we are still working on porting applications and extensions. It is likely that we will manage to update everything in 3-4 weeks.
This big delay is caused by Gnome 45 messing up extensions because yes and some unexpected events.

📰 Next version of Nyarch Linux will be based on Windows!!
🐧 Recently, a big vulnerability has hit Linux. The popular libary xz has been affected by a backdoor, introduced by the core maintainer itself. This proves how less secure are open source projects and Linux.
🎹 All it took to introduce a backdoor was 5 years of maintaining a project earning the FOSS community trust and 3 years of making some fake commits to gradually introduce the backdoor. And with just this effort, it took almost a month for the community to notice this! This infected package managed to hit beta and unstable versions of popular distributions! (Not Nyarch tho)
💻 We will now switch to Windows, since it is backed up by a good big corporation called Microsoft, that has never done anything sketchy and has added a lot of awesome features to their OS lately, like ads in the start menu, random processes in the background that makes your computer lag when you need it the most, invasive popups that suggest you to use good MIcrosoft software instead of third party one, updates that decide when your computer can turn on/off and much more!

📣 Soon Gnome 47 will arrive on Arch Linux!
It should be pretty safe to update from Nyarch Linux 24.04+, as all of our extensions seem to be working on Gnome 47.
The only thing that may cause issues are Gnome builtin accent colors. This is because Nyarch uses a more complete theme engine that overrides them, Material You Colors https://github.com/FrancescoCaracciolo/material-you-colors/.
We will soon work on a better integration of gnome accent colors inside of Material You Colors.
With Gnome 47 update, Material You Colors won't update automatically (this means that if you change accent color from Nyarch Customize or change the wallpaper, theming won't update), you can easily fix this in one click, just run the "Update Material You" script inside of Nyarch Scripts.
