The situation with ZEC
For the past few years, there was a vulnerability in the protocol that allowed someone to mint new ZEC that no one could detect.
A white-hat hacker discovered this vulnerability using Claude 4.8 Opus (not Mythos).
The developers have already fixed the bug.
The person who discovered the vulnerability stated that he didnβt mint any new, completely undetectable ZEC.
No one else, including the developers themselves, has admitted to exploiting the bug and minting ZEC that no one would ever detect.
There are 2 possibilities:
1. Absolutely no one actually minted any new ZEC.
2. Everyone who did mint them has already sold during this dump, or will sell in the near future.
