2. QA - Quality Assurance and QC - Quality Control
Both are important to quality standarts.
QA encompasses all of the activities within your plan that ensure your product is ready to go through the manufacturing process. In other words, you’re verifying that the quality requirements you planned for will be fulfilled as the products are made.
QС is the inspection phase of quality assurance. It’s a series of test procedures used to verify that a product is safe and effective after mass production. Both QA and QC are necessary. You can’t “test quality into” a product by relying on QC alone.
Difference: Effective quality assurance is proactive. It aims to prevent defects before they occur through process design. QC is reactive and exists to identify defects in the quality of products after they have happened.
3. Why hatch is round - The main reasons why the hatch is round is due to the fact that
1 - the hatch cannot be so small and triangular because a person would not be able to climb there or would have to make the hatch bigger and then more money would have to be spent on it.
2 - square manhole can 't be either because the tunnel is round and the manhole may fall there or it will take more money to make it bigger
3 - a round hatch is 30% cheaper to make than a hatch of another shape and the load on the round hatch is evenly distributed.
4 - if you make the hatch is not round, it is very easy to damage the edges and you will have to spend money again to make a new hatch
5 - the hatches are round because no matter how you twist it, it will never fall into the well and cause trouble there, for example, it will hit a person working there, or it will break through. The lid of another shape, for example, square, can move due to vibration and slip into the well at an angle. This is because the square has a diagonal larger than its sides, and the circle has one radius (whatever you say).
The round shape reduces the internal forces that may arise during its installation. Thus, savings can be achieved by producing thinner caps.
