Spec-Driven Development: Beyond Vibe Coding
AI coding is evolving beyond simply telling an AI what to build and hoping for the best. With Spec-Driven Development (SDD), developers first define clear requirements, designs and tasks before letting AI coding agents generate the implementation.
By giving AI a structured β€œsource of truth”, SDD aims to make AI-generated software more reliable, maintainable and aligned with what developers actually intend to build.
