For products ranging from tangible items like soap to intangible software like Slack, a product manager conceives the vision for these new products and develops a strategy to execute that vision. They steer a product’s development so the result satisfies both the consumer’s needs and aligns with the company’s goals.

To do so, they conduct research, develop strategies, communicate plans to stakeholders, coordinate development and analyse feedback, all of which require close coordination with a company’s design, development, sales, marketing and customer service teams.

A range of roles and positions are available to aspiring product managers, from the more junior role of Product Owner to the Chief Product Officer of a company.

With Singapore’s status as a leading global business hub attracting innumerable companies, the product management industry is also a vital keystone to ensure Singapore’s continued growth.

Hi everyone! My current start-up is looking for 2 more Data Science Interns to commit from now to Dec. The project is pretty unique, involving sound analysis and collection - located at Tuas Naval Base (TNB)

Our main office is at Kaki Bukit, but due to the nature of this ongoing project, interns are required to travel to TNB unless otherwise stated. Our team is currently pushing for a hybrid work arrangement over the coming weeks - but TBC
