🌟 Celebrating 30+ years with Yuet Mei 🌟
Today, we honour Leong Yuet Mei, whose remarkable career journey began in 1992, when NUS IT was still known as the Computer Centre. Over three decades, she witnessed our evolution, from mainframes to modern systems, and experienced the moment NUS became the birthplace of Singapore's Internet. She supported critical administrative systems across the campus and built close-knit friendships.
As she retires, she leaves us with two heartfelt reflections: "I hope NUS IT continues to grow, be at the forefront of technology for the whole campus and of course help the campus in every single area", and "It has been a very fulfilling journey here. My career started from a young working life till now, so I am glad it was here."
Thank you, Yuet Mei, for your dedication, your kindness and the legacy you leave behind. Wishing you a joyful and meaningful retirement. 💙
