In the session themed “Technology-Driven Education,” NUS IT’s Head of Enterprise Services, Irving Kwok, took the stage to share insights on AI-Know, our centralised suite of generative AI tools, and key virtual reality innovations from the Interreality Technology team. His presentation, “Beyond What is Real: Transcending Boundaries in Education,” explored how we’re redefining the future of teaching and learning through immersive and intelligent technologies.

Tan Keok Tay, a key member of our DE team, was there to cheer on Assistant Professor Yeo May May from Duke-NUS, as she took the stage to share her innovation journey. What made it even more special? Her solution, AskADD, started as a staff-driven idea at the DE'Hackathon and was supported by Keok Tay and the DE team.
By working hand-in-hand with the DE team, Prof May May built and refined AskADD, proving once again how a great collaboration can turn novel ideas into real-world solutions. The HPC-AI team at NUS is bringing AI-to-the-core! Through a specially curated workshop series on cloud research, we’re introducing researchers to the latest in cloud and AI technologies.
At the most recent session, held in collaboration with Google Cloud and ST Engineering, we focused on harnessing the power of generative AI. Rikky Purbojati, Head of HPC-AI, opened with insights on NUS’s high-performance computing resources, followed by engaging presentations from our partners.
