Honoured to have our Chief Information Technology Officer, Tan Shui-Min, speak at Times Higher Education Digital Universities Asia 2024! 🌟

Shui-Min was part of a transformative workshop on “Adopting Immersive Technologies to Improve Learning Outcomes,”. Facilitated by Laura Duckett from Times Higher Education, Shui-Min was amongst esteemed experts Dr. Sasa Arsovski, Dean of AI and Robotics at Raffles University and Professor Eugene Ch'ng, Dean of the School of Culture and Creativity at BNU-HKBU UIC. The discussions involved the 3 panel members moving from table to table to share and exchange with a different set of delegates in time intervals. Refreshing insights from different institutions were gleaned and heard at each switch, making the learning experience deeper and wider.

NUS IT Celebrates Singapore’s 59th National Day with Nostalgia, Prizes, and Delicious Bites! 🎉

Our Fun Club members from the 24/25 batch kicked off their first event with incredible energy, taking us back in time with beloved Singaporean games like tikam-tikam, snakes and ladders, five stones, chapteh, yo-yo, pick-up sticks, and spinning tops.

The excitement didn’t stop there! Over 30 lucky prizes were up for grabs, along with a special best-dressed competition. 🏆

And… What's a celebration without awesome bites? To satisfy our cravings, we indulged in chilli crab puffs—a nod to one of our iconic national dishes—and a delightful Singapore kueh cake.

It was an unforgettable National Day celebration at NUS IT. Happy 59th Birthday, Singapore! With love, NUS IT 🐰🥳🎆
