Hackerschool Week 4: Intro to Shell & Vim
๐๏ธ Tuesday, 3 February 6.30pm
๐ SR13 @ COM3-01-22
๐ง Refreshments will be served!
Shell and Vim are two essential tools for working efficiently in a Unix-based environment (and both are commonly encountered by 2030s students!)
Weโll start with an introduction to the shell, covering basic navigation, file management, and common commands to help you get comfortable working in a terminal.
After that, weโll move on to an introduction to Vim, where youโll learn core concepts, essential keybindings, and tips to make editing code and text less intimidating (and more productive).
Beginners welcome!
