The Jane Street Estimathon ยฎ is a team-based contest that combines trivia, game theory, and mathematical thinking.
Teams have 30 minutes to work on a set of 13 estimation problems. The answer to each problem is a positive number.
Teams submit intervals for each problem. Intervals may not contain negative numbers or zero. Teams cannot use the internet, calculators, smartphones, or any other type of external reference material.
The winning team is the one with the best set of estimates!

Bring your friends along for a fun night filled with math, trivia, and more!

2) Homebrew at Scale: Automated Builds and ARM64 Linux
In this talk, explore Homebrew package manager from a maintainerโ€™s perspective, how the automated CI pipeline builds and distributes binary packages, and the technical challenges of porting Homebrew to ARM64 Linux.

Do you enjoy squeezing every last drop of performance out of a system? Have you ever been interested in running massive multi server applications?

The NUS High Performance Computing team (Team Kent Ridge) is partnering with Hackers to provide an introductory experience of running a HPC application.

In this session we'll build, run and monitor a real world HPC application on the SoC cluster.

To prep the only thing you'll need to do is enable SoC cluster access here:
