Inspired by the insights she gained from research she conducted years ago on Kotoen – an age-integrated facility that provides childcare centre, elderly home and nursing home services in Japan – Assoc Prof Thang Leng Leng (NUS Japanese Studies) recently worked with Dr Wu Xi Vivien (Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine) and Cara Lee (Director of Academic Services, Early Childhood Development Centres, Anglican Preschool Services) to plan and run a ten-week inter-generational trial at St John’s-St Margaret’s. 1. Piloting Inter-Generational Socialisation and Relationships
Inspired by the insights she gained from research she conducted years ago on Kotoen – an age-integrated facility that provides childcare centre, elderly home and nursing home services in Japan – Assoc Prof Thang Leng Leng (NUS Japanese Studies) recently worked with Dr Wu Xi Vivien (Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine) and Cara Lee (Director of Academic Services, Early Childhood Development Centres, Anglican Preschool Services) to plan and run a ten-week inter-generational trial at St John’s-St Margaret’s.
