👨🏾‍🏫 For NUS Computing lecturer Ravi Suppiah, teaching is something that comes naturally for him. In secondary school, he would help some of his classmates with their work, who would say to him: “Woah when you teach, I understand. But when the teacher teaches, I don’t understand.”
Today, Ravi combines his passion for computer engineering with teaching, and always strives to make his classes more hands-on for students. 💻 🤖 🛠️ Find out how Ravi is changing the way he teaches computer engineering!

Writing software programmes can be an immense task — the average Android phone uses 12 million lines of code, Facebook runs on 62 million, and a modern car on 100 million. Some software developers employ a neat trick: code reuse, where they take existing code and use it to build new software. NUS Computing Assoc Prof Tan Chuan Hoo studies the impact and influence tech followers have on code reuse, and the benefits of collaboration between leaders and their followers.
