📺💻 Anyone ever tried delving into a new film on Netflix, or tried discovering new songs on Spotify? The options seem endless and often paralysing. Enter AI powered recommendations on what to watch & listen, helping us to ease the decision-making process. But who - or what - is responsible for analysing these different data and making recommendations to you?
The answer: algorithms fuelled by data! Computers achieve this task through a process called graph processing. To make graph processing ‘thunder fast’, NUS Computing Associate Professor He Bingsheng and his research team have developed a new graph processing framework called ThunderGP. Check out their research below!
