Not only have NUS Computing Assistant Prof Han Jun and Prof Chan Mun Choon discovered this stealthy attack, they have also found another security risk where vulnerabilities in cellular networks are exploited to figure out a person's physical location, as they stream music and movies on the go. 📲 🎧

Congrats to NUS Computing Profs David Hsu and Lee Wee Sun for winning the Robotics Science and Systems (RSS) Test of Time Award 2021! 🎉

The award was given to Prof Hsu, Prof Lee, and Assoc Prof Hanna Kurniawati from the Australian National University for their pioneering work on developing an effective approximation algorithm that enables robots to operate effectively under uncertain and dynamic situations. 🤖

Congratulations to NUS Computing profs Dr Lek Hsiang Hui, Dr Steven Halim, Dr Henry Chia and A/P Tan Wee Kek, who were conferred the Annual Teaching Excellence Award (ATEA) for Academic Year (AY) 2018/2019 this year! 🎉

Dr Lek and Dr Halim were placed on the Honour Roll for 2019 and 2020 respectively, after having won the ATEA thrice.

🏆 Six NUSComputing graduates recently won the Outstanding Computing Project Prize, a new prize that was instituted in 2020.

Four Computer Science graduates, Liu Zhaoyu Liu, Monika Manuela Hengki, Ronald Santoso and Sean Ng Peng Nam, along with Business Analytics graduate Kong Yan San Kong and Computer Engineering graduate Ang Jie Liang, each won the Outstanding Computing Project Prize.

The prize is awarded by the school to recognise undergraduates who have produced excellent Final Year Projects (FYPs), or projects under the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (UROP).
