๐ŸŽ‰ Exciting Updates to our Minor in Cities! ๐ŸŽ‰

Starting from AY24/25 Semester 2 onwards, our Minor has been updated to offer greater flexibility in course planning, helping you tailor your learning experience to your interests.

To complete the Minor, youโ€™ll need to:

๐Ÿ“Œ Complete at least 20 units from the approved electives.
๐Ÿ“Œ Finish CDE2501 Liveable Cities and at least two NUS Cities electives (CDE-coded) from any of the 4 pillars.
๐Ÿ“Œ Take 1 course from each of the 4 pillars (you may take more but only 1 course per pillar counts).
๐Ÿ“Œ CDE4501A and CDE4501B can substitute one elective, but not CDE2501.

Join the NUS x UBC 2025 Joint Summer Studio: Living with Water ๐ŸŒ

Be part of the National University of Singapore x University of British Columbia 2025 cohort to embark on a unique comparative learning journey. Through cross-disciplinary dialogues, field lectures, and collaborative exploration, students will examine water-sensitive urban projects, ecosystem services-based solutions, and cross-cultural planning perspectives from both Singapore and Vancouver.

During the programme, participants will engage with a network of local advisors, including academics, practitioners, and community leaders from both cities.

Students will also have the chance to attend one day of the Sustainable Cities and Landscapes Conference by the Association of Pacific Rim Universities, hosted at Simon Fraser University.

๐ŸŒŠ Flexible Participation
Students may choose to travel to Vancouver or join fully via hybrid mode. Lectures and dialogues at UBC will be accessible online, allowing for full remote participation.
