For this weekend only, catch 32 dancers from NUS Dance Blast! at ๐ผ๐ง๐ช๐จ, presented as part of the ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ฅ๐ค๐ง๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ฃ๐๐ก ๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐ค๐ ๐ผ๐ง๐ฉ๐จ (๐๐๐๐ผ).
The original site-specific staging of ๐๐น๐ฎ๐๐! ๐ข๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐: ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฆ took place at NUS University Town in 2025. Now reimagined for SIFAโs Festival Village at Empress Lawn, this encore presentation revisits and reshapes the work for a new outdoor setting in the heart of the city.
Directed by Ahmad Kamil and choreographed by Blast! Members, ๐ผ๐ง๐ช๐จ draws inspiration from the stories of the Orang Laut, the indigenous, traditionally nomadic and seafaring inhabitants of the islands surrounding Singapore. Through movement and interactions with their surroundings, the work reflects on the histories and cultural legacies that continue to shape Singaporeโs rich and layered identity.

Are you curious about how artificial intelligence can accelerate the future of clean energy? Join the Hydrogen Innovation Challenge 2026, organised by the NUS Centre for Hydrogen Innovations.
Working in teams of 2โ4, participants will first take part in a knowledge round on 6 June 2026, featuring a learning session on AI for Science led by NUS lecturer Dr Lim Chia Wei, followed by a team-based quiz. The top 12 teams will advance to the innovation round on 28 June 2026, where they will develop and present AI-driven solutions to real-world challenges in hydrogen and decarbonisation.
Attractive prizes await, including a top prize of $3000, along with Best School and Audience Choice Awards.

Did you know NUS has a Sustainability Guide to help student leaders plan more sustainable events? ๐ฑ
One of the students behind the guide is Lim Xin Ee (Science, Class of 2026), who contributed to its development as part of the OSA Sustainability Task Force in 2025. Through the NUS Community Impact Scholarship, Xin Ee was able to deepen her involvement in sustainability initiatives, turning her passion for environmental conservation into meaningful action on campus and beyond.
