Let’s meet the OG Whale Guys!

Behind the hard work and months-long process of whale salvage lies a dedicated team from LKCNHM determined to glean as much insight as possible, and share this whale’s incredible story. 🐳🔍 #NUSResearch #ShapeTheFuture

We meet our very own whale guys Marcus and Maosheng, who also worked on Jubi Lee a decade ago. Both have remained passionate in the valuable work of natural history in the past 10 years, and guess what - one of them has already given this whale a nickname! Hint: It’s ‘surname’ is also Lee!⚡️

Did you know that Yusof Ishak House (YIH) was included in the original NUS masterplan in 1978, and was built to house the Students’ Union? Today, YIH has grown from a space for just the Students’ Union, into a vibrant place for the whole student community 💙🧡

The newest rejuvenation of YIH officially opens tomorrow (15 Oct) - with student-focused spaces perfect for studying, eating, recharging, or just to chill out 🌿 Drop in at the new epicentre of student life, and perhaps stay for awhile? #yihnspire
