From May 5–7, 2026, Associate Professor Nop Kanharith of NUM-School of Public Policy and Ms. Tie Porly, a researcher at NUM-AERI, participated in three key events in Sarawak, Malaysia: the Workshop on Design Thinking for Smart Cities, the International Conference on Sustainable Smart Cities (ICSS), and the final project meeting of the SCALe Project.
The activities were hosted at the Imperial Hotel and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Campus 2. During the ICSS, Associate Professor Nop Kanharith delivered a presentation titled “Conceptual Frameworks for the Development of Personal Data Protection Law in Cambodia’s Emerging Smart Cities.”

ក្នុងកម្មវិធីបាឋកថានេះ ឯកឧត្តមសាកលវិទ្យាធិការ និងមន្រ្តីជំនាញនៃសាកលវិទ្យាល័យជាតិគ្រប់គ្រង បានចែករំលែកពីបទពិសោធន៍ បច្ចេកទេស និងបញ្ហាប្រឈមក្នុងការរៀបចំកម្មវិធីអន្តរជាតិ និងការអភិវឌ្ឍកម្មវិធីសិក្សាឌីជីថល និងបន្តគាំទ្រគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមកក្នុងការងារអប់រំ និងបណ្តុះបណ្តាលកម្រិតឧត្តមសិក្សា។
