Секция посвящена анализу концепта «укоренённости» (embeddedness) и его трансформациям. Экономическая социология возникла и долгое время развивалась в рамках теории социальной укоренённости экономических действий. Однако, может быть, каноничный для области концепт более не является продуктивными для производства нового знания и скорее работает как невидимый «скелет» для функционирования поля исследовательской мысли экономических социологов?

Research Assistant Call

The research assistant will be working with Emily Silcock and Simon Löwe on an ongoing project focusing on welfare stigma. The research assistant will be reading German newspaper articles and labelling their content.
We are seeking someone to start as soon as possible. The position will take 5-10 hours per week for 6-8 weeks.

The research assistant should have a high level of attention to detail, and be a native speaker of German. We are particularly interested in candidates that have lived in Germany for a long time, and understand German culture.

We are seeking a Research Assistant for a short-term position as part of a research project funded by the EU Marie Curie Research Grant at the University of Vienna. The project focuses on the post-earthquake reconstruction economy in Hatay, starting July 15th, 2025.

What we’re looking for:

The Organizational Behavior (OB) group at Yale SOM anticipates hiring full-time postgraduate associates. The positions will begin in the summer 2025 and are one-year commitments with the possibility of renewal. The candidate will support a variety of tasks related to the research process.
