Что: стажировка в International Finance Corporation (часть Всемирного Банка)

Условия: обязательно быть студентом магистратуры, 2 года опыта работы. Стажировка оплачивается. Большинство вакансий в Вашингтоне (можно подаваться из любой страны), но есть и в других местах. Мне вот приглянулись Вена и Стамбул. Несколько есть даже удаленно. Минимальная длительность стажировка - 4 недели.

Хотела поговорить про PhD в экономике в UCL. Это достаточно специфическая тема и не все думают прямо именно о UCL. Но если вдруг вы именно из тех, кому интересно. Короче, в UCL устроено все немного грустно, в том плане, что в аспирантуру именно по экономике нужно поступать именно на программу, где обязательно делать Masters of Research. И весь прикол заключается в том, что на саму аспирантуру фандинг дают, а на вот этот год магистратуры нет. И я, честное слово, все время удивляюсь, кто к ним тогда идет. Но как то они каждый год все равно набирают студентов. Наверное, это какой то external funding. Так вот один из лайфхаков - поступить в UCL на PhD, а потом подать на фандинг от исследовательского центра IFS. И они покроют обучение в этой магистратуре. В этом году дедлайн через 2 дня, но может быть кому-то пригодиться на следующий год. Еще один лайфхак - пойти вместо экономики на финансовую экономику и там тоже все покроют. Но это уже на любителя.

Research Assistant Call

The research assistant will be working with Emily Silcock and Simon Löwe on an ongoing project focusing on welfare stigma. The research assistant will be reading German newspaper articles and labelling their content.
We are seeking someone to start as soon as possible. The position will take 5-10 hours per week for 6-8 weeks.

The research assistant should have a high level of attention to detail, and be a native speaker of German. We are particularly interested in candidates that have lived in Germany for a long time, and understand German culture.

We are seeking a Research Assistant for a short-term position as part of a research project funded by the EU Marie Curie Research Grant at the University of Vienna. The project focuses on the post-earthquake reconstruction economy in Hatay, starting July 15th, 2025.
