We are thrilled to announce that the NU OPEN returns this year as an in-person event with even more fun and even greater opportunities. NU ACM SC welcomes and encourages all of you to accept the challenge and participate!

NU OPEN is a Republican Competitive Programming Contest for all willing to challenge and improve their programming skills. You may participate individually or gather a team of up to 3 members 🤩

We hope you are preparing to the main event of this November - NUOpen. Meanwhile, we prepared another event to enhance your skills and have fun 🔥.

TypeRacer is a multiplayer online browser-based typing game. Your task is to complete typing the given text in a shortest time and with least mistakes. Your WPM will be count towards the score of the whole team.

The Typeracer will consist of 3 stages:
- Regular race with all teams (1-1 team battle).
- Semifinal with proceeded teams.
- Final: death mode. One mistake and you are out of competition.

Bring the team of 3 people or register by yourself. If you do not have a team at the moment of registration, we will place you in a random team. Team members and racing schedule will be announced at the beginning of the event.

💃🏼The winners of the TypeRacer will get Merch at the NUOpen (which will take place on November 12), so hurry up to register by the link.

He will also tell about his work experience, so you can ask him questions you are interested in.

🌟 This is the agenda for this upcoming Saturday. We are stating at 10am!

📑 RULES

1. Participants should bring ID cards to check-in.
2. Questions about the contest problems should be asked on the platform. Any other questions should be asked from Technical Managers (who will have badges).
3. Bring with you your laptop. Only one laptop is allowed per offline team. We recommend bringing your own extension cords.
4. Offline participants will have credentials on their respective tables, which they can use to enter the platform.
5. Online participants can use at most three laptops.

⚡️Here is the check list for you to make sure that you have everything you need:
🙋‍♀️ National ID (удостоверение личности)
🎓 Student ID if you are NU student
🔌 Network filter (сетевой фильтр, удлинитель)
💻 ONE Laptop per team, pen/pencil and notebook to take notes
