There are various reasons why female representation in IT remains low. Some believe that it is not the right career choice for women, while some girls think that they cannot succeed. We are here to change these prejudices.

NU ACM-W SC is happy to announce that throughout this October, we are going to hold a «Celebration of Women in IT»!🎊🎉

«Celebration of Women in IT» is a series of events that we are dedicating to celebrate women in IT by ruining the stereotypes and inspiring young girls to join computer science fields.

Why do we need to support and encourage female involvement in Computer Science related fields?
More diversity in the industry leads to more diverse solutions.

Throughout this month, you can expect:
- Stories of success of Kazakhstani (not only) women
- Coding quizzes
- Talks from our special guests and many more!

Everyone is welcome to join us! Stay tuned for more news!
