Dear students,
We are in ongoing communication with the Bursar’s Office regarding the stipend payments that have not yet been received by some students. According to their clarification, the issue is related to a system error on the bank’s side.
Additionally, there are a few other possible reasons why the payment may not have gone through:
1. Some students may have provided an incorrect or closed bank account.
2. If your account was linked to a broker account (for example, in Halyk Bank), please make sure the account is active and check whether the funds were transferred there.
3. Students who have multiple cards should verify that the card linked to the provided account is still open; otherwise, the payment is returned.
4. Around 40 physical cards have not been collected yet, which may also cause delays.
We kindly ask all students who have not received their stipend to:
- You might need to provide your updated IBAN number to the Bursar’s Office to resolve the issue. They asked us to collect this information, but it is beyond the scope of our competency. Please visit the Bursar’s Office to clarify your situation.
- Verify that the account number you submitted is active and correct.
- If your account is with Halyk Bank, check your broker account or contact the bank directly at 7111 for more detailed assistance.
Thank you for your understanding. We have already provided the list of students who have not received their payments and requested the Office of the Bursar to send an official clarification email. However, they declined to do so. Please visit the Office of the Bursar.
Best regards,
Ministry of Education

Dear students,
Our university is launching a new integrated academic system Academia, which will combine Registrar, Moodle, Bursar’s, and other services in one platform. The system will be accessible on your phone and will include features like timetable, marks, attendance, and notifications.
Right now, the implementation team is on a two-week on-site visit in Kazakhstan to configure the system according to our university’s specific needs. The Ministry of Education will also be providing feedback during this stage.
The first modules to be integrated include Admissions, Registrar, and Bursar’s Office. The project is planned to be completed by September 2026.
We are now collecting feedback from students to identify and propose features and improvements that could be included in the new system. While not every suggestion may be implemented, your input will help guide the configuration process and ensure the system reflects our community’s needs.
Thank you for your input!
