We welcome you to our first physical workshop of this semester! Have you heard about ChatGPT over the December holiday? I’m sure you did, if not feel free to join us for TGIFHacks #139 on 27th January (Friday), 6:30pm at LT1 to find out what it is!

Our speaker is an experienced professional with a background in quantitative finance. He is currently leading the quant team at 360F Singapore, where they apply cutting-edge technologies to develop quantitative models for the insurance industry. Our speaker will give a live demonstration of how ChatGPT works. Moreover, the workshop will also cover an overview of the ChatGPT model and its capabilities, technical details of how ChatGPT was constructed, potential use cases for ChatGPT, including language understanding, text generation, and conversational AI and many more!

The TGIFHacks Workshop at LT1 was truly a memorable one, thanks to the expert insights shared by our speaker, Mr. Sirimevan Jayasundera. The audience was captivated by his in-depth knowledge on the topic of ChatGPT, and the way he presented it made it all the more engaging and easy to understand. The interactive Q&A session was a great addition to the evening, providing the opportunity for attendees to gain even more insights and clarity on the subject matter.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the hosts of the event in organizing and preparing for the evening.
Overall, it was an informative and enjoyable evening for all, and we thank our audience members and look forward to see you guys for our next workshop on 3rd February, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at LT1.

Last Friday, we hosted a TGIFHacks workshop on Digital Transformation. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our speaker, Mr. Sidharth Joshi, for his sharing on Digital Transformation. The workshop will focus on a real-world use case of tracking the activities of a play-to-earn game on-chain. Participants will learn how to unpack blockchain transactions, extract data, and analyze the information to gain insights into the game's on-chain activities. The workshop will provide hands-on experience and a step-by-step approach, allowing individuals with little to no prior knowledge of blockchain.
