Both these projects are year-long - giving project teams more than enough time to work on them. Therefore, there will be ample downtime during exam season.
Having the skills desired for your project of preference is not a prerequisite. If you're a highly motivated individual, you will be given ample guidance and resources to develop your skills. Moreover, if you believe you can contribute to any of these projects in the ways not mentioned above, we will be more than happy to have you onboard!
