Hi Hi! Some of y’all had some questions and confusion about Fusion Night so we are here to address them in this very short FAQ! 🤔

❓Qn: Is this event only for international students?
❗️Ans: Nope, all residents are invited! So sign up and bring your friends along! 🤩

❓Qn: Do I need to dress to match my cultural background?
❗️Ans: You can, however expect some walking so dress somewhat comfortably! 🫡

Reminder to sign up for this exciting food tour that will end with a sit down meal at Prince Hotpot and Loklok, a supper location near NTU that opened up just last year 🤤🔥

Mid-Autumn Festival seeks to celebrate the end of the autumn harvest, and is adored by many because of the sweets that come around during this time. Here’s an opportunity to try snow skin mooncakes🍧 and come down to celebrate this festive season 🤩

Rec Night

Want to come down and show your Mahjong skills? Or maybe you want to spend the night playing other Rec games? Either way, this event is for you!😉

Come down to Hall 7's very own Recreation Interactive Night, our very first 2-part event consisting of Mahjong Mayhem and Mind Cafe!

🀄️MAHJONG MAYHEM🀄️
In Mahjong Mayhem, you will be introduced to Mahjong in a friendly setting where you get to play with your fellow residents! It's a mini-tournament style event, but nobody's a loser because there is strictly no money involved. There'll be refreshments provided to you as you build your Tai, and hearsay there's a special prize waiting for the king of the table!

♟MIND CAFE♟
In Mind Cafe, you'll get to play the various Rec games our hall has to offer with your fellow residents! These include Darts, Chinese Chess, International Chess, Othello, Contract Bridge, Carrom, Boggle, Scrabble and Weiqi. Put your skills to the test and also feast on the refreshments we're going to be providing on the day itself! In addition, those who go to the event have a chance to participate in a lucky draw with prizes to be won!

All in all, it'll be a night of snacks, drinks, prizes and fun!🥤🍟🏆

34TH HALL COUNCIL ELECTIONS

Missed the first round of sign-ups for our hall’s very own Annual Dinner and Dance (D&D) event this year? Don’t worry, tickets are still up for grabs until 8th September 2023, 2359!

In case you haven’t already heard, there will be special performances 🎭 and catwalks 💃🏻🕺🏻 put up by some of our extremely hardworking 🏋🏻💪🏻 freshies (who have been practising tirelessly behind-the-scenes). What’s more, we are also catering a 9-course buffet 🍲🤤 and designing multiple photobooths 📸 for you guys to snap memorable photos at the end of the event!

The theme for this year is ‘Gamer Glamour’, so do come down dressed in video game costumes that showcase your creativity 🥳  (psst… there are Best Dressed prizes 🎁 to be won!) 🤫

No guarantees that you’ll be able to participate in the activities, but we will take into account of the current attendance rate and try to accommodate you!
