Driver Fee Extended Until 30 September 2026

Following NPHVA’s continued engagements with platform operators on drivers’ operating costs, CDG Zig, Grab, Gojek, and TADA will be extending their Driver Fee / fuel support measures until 30 September 2026.

The Driver Fee was first introduced in 2022 to help drivers manage rising fuel costs. Importantly, these fees are passed on fully to drivers and do not attract platform commission.

At NPHVA, we continue to bring members’ feedback and concerns directly to the table through our regular engagements with platform operators, advocating for practical measures that support drivers on the ground.

🚘🚌 Catching Up with Our Limousine & Combi-Bus Drivers

NPHVA was back on the ground catching up with our limousine and combi-bus driver members. This time, we met at Bras Basah Food Court, where we connected over drinks in a cosy setting .

The session allowed drivers to share their experiences, feedback and concerns, helping NPHVA better understand the issues they face in the industry 💬.

We also shared updates on the latest membership benefits and initiatives available to support our members in their journey💪.

A big thank you to all the drivers who took the time to join us 🙏. These conversations help us stay connected with the community and continue working towards providing relevant and meaningful support for drivers ❤️.

🚨 NPHVA Continues Working with LTA to Curb Illegal Cross-Border Ride-Hailing

Protecting the livelihoods of licensed private hire drivers remains a key priority. NPHVA continues to work closely with the LTA by sharing ground feedback and information on suspected illegal cross-border ride-hailing activities.

In a recent enforcement operation, 11 drivers were found to have provided illegal cross-border ride-hailing services, at land checkpoints and downtown area, and their vehicles were impounded.

We would like to thank members who have taken the time to report suspected illegal activities.

🚗 If you’re travelling to Johor Bahru this long weekend, remember to use only licensed cross-border ride-hailing services or Singapore-registered cross-border taxis for your journey.

🥳 NPHVA at TADA FEST 2026

NPHVA was pleased to join our partner, TADA, at TADA Fest, where drivers came together for an afternoon of laughter, networking, and of course, plenty of durian.

The event was also a valuable opportunity for drivers to learn more about TADA's recent updates and ongoing efforts to adapt its policies and initiatives to better support drivers. It was heartening to see open engagement and a shared commitment to improving the driver experience, with drivers actively exchanging feedback and perspectives throughout the afternoon.

These interactions also provided a meaningful opportunity for NPHVA to engage drivers directly and listening in on existing feedbacks. Such conversations remain invaluable as we continue working closely with platform partners such as TADA to explore practical solutions and drive positive outcomes for drivers.

Thank you to TADA for hosting and to all the drivers who joined us. We look forward to seeing everyone again at future engagements!
