Instructions

1. Unlock your boot loader

- Go to Settings -> About phone and find your build number.

- Tap on your build number 6 times until you see “You’re now a developer”.

- Go in Developer options > enable OEM unlocking.

- Shut Down your Phone

- Hold Vol + & Vol - and Connect the USB-C Cable

- Device will boot in DOWNLOAD MODE.

- Long press volume UP to unlock the bootloader.
( This will wipe your data and automatically reboot your device! )

- After Reboot the Bootloader is unlocked.

2. Odin

Reboot your phone to download and flash VulcanV2.tar in AP, and your devies odin pack in BL 
!!! Make sure you use the correct odin pack !!!

NOTE: If coming from V1 or a different ROM, make sure you select the format option.

I hope you’re all doing well. It’s been a while since my last update, so I thought this is a perfect time to give another progress update.

Here are the top 3 changes in v3.

In V2, Vulcan Updates were clunky, slow and it was hard for me to keep updated. Therefore, in V3 you will have a brand new updater app, which is hopefully going to be way more reliable, updated regularly, and will have way more mods than in V2. It will allow you to easily install disabled stock apps, notifications, languages and way more.

I have really tried to squeeze as much battery life from the phones as possible. The S20 and Note 20 series are getting old, and so are the batteries.

I achieved this by optimizing system properties, removing Google and Samsung analytics from the OS, as well as debloating as many non-essential processes as possible. I have applied kernel tweaks to hopefully increase the kernel efficiency, as well as applying a very slight under-clock to the primary cores, as they are the main culprit of the Exynos 990 heating issues, however, this will be revertible in the Vulcan Updates.

Although most banking apps work on V2, I tried to make the process of hiding detections a lot easier. I have changed the Play Integrity and Google Photo spoofing methods, which has enabled me to easily provide updates to the GMS fingerprint and Keybox through the update app. It also reduces the number of detections. I have added Netflix model spoofing, and also implemented KSU Next with SuSFS, which will fix many issues (such as data size being 2TB, system being read only), but also make kernelSU way less detectable. And finally, thanks to Emulond, Vulcan ROM now tries to hide the ADB status.

What's left to do?

1. Make ROM Installer
2. Perfect framework spoofing
3. Perfect the updates app

I know it's taking longer than most of you would like, but I am really aiming to reduce as many bugs as I can for the main release.
