​​This semester, I'm taking a 3-week, 1 credit course called "Mightier than the Sword? Assessing the Human Rights Challenge to Israel’s Apartheid" taught by Omar Shakir, Israel and Palestine Director at Human Rights Watch (his profile). He's a visiting fellow at Georgetown Qatar, and has degrees from both Georgetown and Stanford. So far the course was interesting with a focus on Human rights violations committed by Israel on Palestinian land.
