During Further Confusion, our good friends at Rudderbutts were stopped at the border on the way up from Mexico to vend at their first ever American convention. They were held up, detained and ultimately refused entry, being sent back to Mexico. (Good ol' racism.)

We know first hand what it's like trying to cross the border and having xenophobic high-school-bullies-turned-authority-figures overextend their power cluelessly over situations they don't understand, and to be turned away at the border despite the financial and travel burden. It truly makes vending as non-Americans in America difficult when the border guards are incompetent about what constitutes proper paperwork.

Please consider supporting these folks, even if it means putting a pause in, or rescinding a pledge from us. These guys deserve it. Their product, branding, and community are top notch and we're lucky to have them. Oh and the people running it are really fucking cool so there's that.

Good morning! The campaign is already off to an insane start, so our manufacturer asked if we could do a little bit of field research so we can prepare for the purgatory that is going to be putting all of these clothes into production!

The following poll is optional, but we're just looking for a general idea of what folks might be planning on choosing once the campaign is over and the survey is complete!

✨OUR NEXT STRETCH GOAL - U.S. BASED WAREHOUSING FOR CONVENTIONS.✨

With 5 days left, the 2nd last stretch goal is in sight. As most of you know, we are based in Vancouver, Canada. This makes travelling across the border for USA-based conventions VERY difficult. Some of you have heard the horror stories we've been through. We have not sold physical goods at a con since 2019 because of this.

At this goal, we will be able to put into motion a U.S. based warehousing solution so that we can begin attending conventions regularly!

So what's the plan?

The plan is to secure a U.S. based address and storage location that we can operate out of for conventions. This will allow us to house inventory to sell physically at conventions without needing to cross the border each time, as well as our booth display supplies such as signage, stanchions and merchandising grids/walls. It also means we can maintain the staff necessary to pull this off!

At our size and with the nature of what we sell, this requires a LOT of space and packing - Much more than a couple suitcases. We're talking palettes. Having a U.S home base for this will increase our ability to be present in the dens dramatically, with much more elaborate setups AND much more inventory + goodies to hand out!

We're already in talks with a potential location and we're pretty much set to go! The goal is to get back on the ground so we can see all of your beautiful faces at conventions. Let's hope we can make it!
