Last week, the bid for renewal of our warehouse lease was unexpectedly rejected despite our landlords reassurances otherwise. Due to this situation and several other external factors we have made the difficult decision to sell out our stock and sunset Nomad Complex.

Nomad Complex has been experiencing external difficulties for quite some time with growth, scaling, securing staffing, website development, and several other factors. These factors were manageable, but in combination with the loss of our warehouse space and the multitude of challenges this adds to our workload, it has put us in a position where we do not reasonably see a path forward that is feasible at this time. Because of this, we made the decision that our best path forward at this moment is to sunset Nomad Complex for the time being and sell off the final runs of our existing inventory. This is the best opportunity we have to try and carve a new path forward for Nomad Complex.

81,000 of you read the article we posted yesterday. To say that we're just in shock is an understatement. We love you all so damn much.

Words can't describe how much the outpouring of just.. love, meant to us yesterday. This has been an extremely difficult few days and you all reminded us exactly why we do what we do. Thank you for sharing your stories of connection and love and kindness and blahhhhfghgfhghf you're all so wonderful.

We have not had time to respond to all of the offers of help either, however just wanted to let everyone know that they are extremely appreciated. We'll also be going over all e-mails today as well.

Right now we're going to spend the next week getting our inventory logistics in order, stock counts made and verified, the rest of our inventory folded, the roadmap of release dates for restocks that happen to be coming in August so you can plan accordingly, and we'll have all of this information available to you as soon as we can!

We have temporary staff who will be working for this sale until every single order is packed and our capacity will be almost quadruple what our usual order packing capacity is going to be. So if folks are fretting about having to wait an extremely extended period of time for orders, we WILL have extra manpower to take care of. But we will make everything clear when we make the logistic announcement for clearance.

Hey animals! You are going to have LOTS of questions in the upcoming week, and we want to be able to provide you with all of the answers that we can. Please give us a couple of days while we create a roadmap for the re-opening on August 1st. We will have all of the answers to your burning questions, such as;

1. What is going to happen to my Roam Rewards? Should I use them before August 1st?

2. Am I able to add items to my cart before the sale drops so that I can secure the items I want?

3. How much stock do you have of ____________?

4. What about the Pawlaroid design, the Racerbacks and more?

5. Why are you doing this to me?

‼️ROAM REWARDS‼️

One of the biggest questions about August 4th is what will happen to the Roam Rewards program. This will be one of the most logistically daunting aspects of our warehouse sale, but we want to make this as simple as we can.

Effective today, you will no longer be able to choose stickers, enamel pins, wristbands or a combination of them as a free reward. Instead, all available reward tiers have been changed to discount coupons in increments of $5. Please note that all existing rewards for stickers, enamel pins and wristbands are still valid if you redeemed them before July 24th.

Any outstanding rewards or miles will not be transferred past our warehouse sale period.

Through the Roam Rewards program, we are proud to have been able to give away over $180,000 (!!!) in discounts and free items to our customers. As we grew larger and began to see the snowball effect of the discounts and freebies, we discovered some major flaws in the program that became difficult to rectify at the newer volumes we were experiencing. The most notable of these flaws were both the sheer cost of the program as well as the adjustments to inventory necessary to keep stock levels current. A complaint we often heard was that the process to choose which freebies you want to receive was not straight-forward, the method of adding to cart was confusing, and you could not easily stack discounts in a single order. We agree. These were not simple fixes unfortunately that could just have a button clicked to make it work. It was a much more complex task.

In the future we would love to explore new options to thank our customers for their incredible support, but this will most likely not be in the form of this program as it currently exists. We would like to create a better, more streamlined program to say thank you. Whether this is an entirely new program altogether, or us just giving you free shit, we will have to see.

We understand that there will be many sentiments of frustration with this decision, and some folks will have miles left over. ✨WAREHOUSE SALE ANNOUNCEMENT✨

We received a lot of feedback regarding the date of the Warehouse Sale. We have decided to push the sale to August 4th.

At 12pm on August 4th, all items currently sold on our website will be considered final stock as we clear out our current warehouse space of all remaining inventory. Please note that there will be some changes to our policies for this clearance and to carefully read the FAQ below.

How many orders are you expecting? How long do you expect orders will take to ship?

We are expecting extremely high order volumes for this sale. To compensate for this, we will have increased staffing for the entirety of this sale period. While we would like to make as accurate a calculation as possible, we expect some orders may take up to 10-25 days from their original purchase date to be shipped out. We apologize for these extended wait times and thank you for your patience!

What items are being restocked and when?

We’re happy to inform you that ALL restocked items will be available on August 4th as opposed to two separate releases.

I put in an incorrect address, item or size. Can I change this after the order is placed? (IMPORTANT)

As of August 4th, any order that contains an incorrect address, size or item will be canceled and must be placed again by the customer. Due to the extremely high volume of orders, we will not be able to manually adjust inventory or shipping information. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I’ve placed two or more separate orders. Can I combine them together?

As of August 4th, we will no longer be able to combine two orders together due to logistic concerns. We apologize for the inconvenience.

You may have noticed that Nightlife, Fall Feels and Dead Doggo are available in full t-shirt size runs still. That probably seems weird given the state of the rest of the graphic tees. This is because these items are currently OVERSTOCKED; our studio is printing them on the fly to meet demand, as we had existing orders for this stock already being manufactured. However due to volume, we will need to cut orders for these off at 11:59pm tonight. Til then, they are fully available!

Any existing orders that contain these items are still being processed in the order which they have been received. There will be zero interruption, pushbacks or line-cutting for any orders containing these items, so don't fret! This is one of those "We're working our magic" situations.

We apologize for the somber message this morning however we just need to have it jotted down, especially as a reference to anyone who may not see it otherwise.

Please, please do not buy of our designs off of any websites stealing our work. We understand that some may feel frustrated by recent news but we are facing an overwhelming epidemic of theft of our work. With our recent news this has ramped up to an overwhelming degree.

There are currently 371 known confirmed listings of our work being stolen on other websites. We are being purposely targeted by these sites due to various viral social media posts we have made.

The effort involved to try and have these taken down is overwhelming.

What you DON'T see are the e-mails we receive from frustrated people who believe that we are responsible for these scams. They receive poor quality merchandise, and make demands that we either compensate or send them "The correct version"

It is a slap in the face.

There is only so much we can do over IP theft on this enormous a scale. We are trying, we really are. We understand that print to order scams like these are the only viable way to keep everything around all the time. But PLEASE do not patronize them. We are begging you.
