⚠️ Massive overnight attack on Ukraine: Russia fired around 50 missiles and up to 400 drones — including Shaheds, Kalibrs, and ballistic missiles.

Strikes hit homes, power sites, and industry. Kyiv was hit hard: 4 dead, 20+ injured, buildings damaged, metro disrupted. 3 rescuers killed, 9 hurt. Also hits in Chernihiv, Ternopil (toxic air alert), Lutsk, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, and Poltava.
While Russia launched a massive overnight attack targeting civilians across Ukraine, Ukrainian drones struck back with precision—hitting a fuel depot in Engels and the “Progress” plant in Michurinsk, which produces equipment for missile, aviation, and energy infrastructure.

A clear contrast: terror vs. targeted defense.

⚠️ Last night, Russia launched 407 drones and 44 missiles at Ukraine, according to Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat.

Preliminary reports indicate that up to 30 missiles and at least 200 attack drones were shot down. The precise number of intercepted targets is still being verified by the Air Force.
In Kyiv, three Ukrainian State Emergency Service rescuers were killed while responding to the aftermath of Russian strikes. They worked under fire to save lives. Nine more were injured—some critically—and doctors are fighting for them. In Ternopil region, five rescuers were also injured while extinguishing a fire. All are receiving medical care.

Zelensky responds to Russia’s massive overnight strikes:

“Russia hasn’t changed its tactics—another large-scale attack on our cities and civilian life. Over 400 drones and 40+ missiles, including ballistic. Dozens wounded, 3 rescuers killed. Russia must be held accountable. The world can stop this—by pressing Russia now. Inaction means complicity.”
🇩🇪🇺🇸 Despite high hopes, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz failed to convince President Trump to back tougher sanctions on Russia during their first Oval Office meeting. While Merz pushed for a united stance on Ukraine and trade stability, Trump remained unmoved.
Ukraine's Air Force reported on the overnight attack, which in total struck 13 Ukrainian cities.

Shot down:
368/407 various type drones (199 shot down, 169 supressed by EW)
4/6 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles
30/36 Kh-101 cruise missiles
2/2 Iskander-K cruise missiles
0/1 Kh-31P anti-radar missile
❗️ Ukrainian forces conducted a preemptive strike on Russian airbases ahead of a major attack. The Engels airbase in Saratov—home to concentrated Russian aviation—was hit, causing significant damage. The Dyagilevo airbase in Ryazan, hosting aerial refuelers and escort fighters used in missile strikes on Ukraine, was also targeted. Additionally, multiple fuel tanks in Saratov caught fire, resulting in a large blaze, the General Staff confirms.
🇺🇦 Despite over 3 years of full-scale war, Ukrainian resilience holds strong. According to a new KIIS survey, 60% of Ukrainians are ready to endure the war "as long as needed", with another 6% prepared for at least a year. Only 20% see their endurance limited to months.
“A serious slap in the face of the power of the Russian Federation.” Ukraine’s drone war is entering a new phase—covert, relentless, and far-reaching. As the Washington Post warns: “Ukraine’s dirty war is just getting started.”
