Last night, Russia saw a wave of drone attacks—air defenses lit up the skies over Rostov, putting on quite a show. Meanwhile, more strikes reportedly hit power substations in occupied Melitopol.

Russian forces launched overnight attacks on Pryluky and Kharkiv. In Pryluky, Chernihiv region, two homes, garages, a utility building, and a car were destroyed. Five people, including a child, were killed under the rubble, and six others were injured. In Kharkiv, drones struck residential buildings, wounding 18 people.

🇺🇸 The U.S. is pulling a key anti-drone technology from Ukraine, per WSJ. Last week, the Pentagon quietly told Congress that special detonators used by Ukraine to shoot down Russian drones will now be allocated to U.S. Air Force units in the Middle East.
More on the weaponry redirected from Ukraine to the Middle East: the system in question is a proximity fuze with a radio-frequency sensor for APKWS rockets—used by Ukraine to down Russian drones. These fuzes are essential for detonation and were originally meant for the Vampire air defense system.
Kherson is once again under attack by Russian guided bombs. Around 05:30 this morning, a KAB strike heavily damaged the regional administration building, leaving it visibly devastated.
❗️Overnight, Russia launched more than 25 drones at Odesa region. In Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, the attack damaged civilian infrastructure—including the destruction of a family medicine clinic and damage to a school and youth creativity center. This is yet another act of repetitive terror against civilians.
Czech FM Jan Lipavsky says it's time to increase pressure on Moscow. He notes Russia repeated its 2022 ultimatums and rejected an unconditional ceasefire during recent talks in Istanbul: “No serious negotiations, just stalling. We have all the tools—we must use them.”

A guided bomb strike hit the Kherson Regional Administration building this morning, causing significant damage. Reports also indicate FPV drones targeted civilians in the streets—an increasingly common tactic in Russian attacks on Kherson.

💥 In the Bryansk region, an Iskander ballistic missile system—already loaded with a missile intended for an attack on Kyiv—was struck, according to the General Staff.
⚠️ North Korea will continue to support Russia in its war against Ukraine, said Kim Jong-un during a meeting with Sergei Shoigu, Russia’s Secretary of the Security Council.
On the night of June 5, Russia launched 103 attack drones and a ballistic missile targeting Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Odesa regions. Ukrainian defenses downed 74 drones; 28 shot down, 46 jammed. Strikes hit 16 locations.
President Zelensky responded to the Russian strike on Pryluky that killed three people. A rescuer lost his wife, daughter, and one-year-old grandson when a Shahed drone hit his own home.

"This is already the 632nd child killed in the war," he said, urging action from the U.S., Europe, and the world.
“Putin supports continuing working-level contacts with Kyiv, despite the transformation of the Kyiv regime into a terrorist one,” said the Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
