Ukrainian MiG-29 drops an AASM HAMMER right on a Russian UAV crew in the South.
A Ukrainian official has confirmed to Axios that Ukraine provided advance notice to the Trump administration regarding today's attack on Russian airbases.
Personally, I’m seeing a lot of hype about 40 destroyed Russian strategic aircraft, but from what’s actually confirmed on visual evidence, it’s more like 7 or 8. Sure, the real number could be higher, but without fresh satellite imagery or new solid footage, it’s all guesswork. For now, the "40 strategic aircraft" story is a myth.

A Ukrainian official has confirmed to Axios that Ukraine provided advance notice to the Trump administration regarding today's attack on Russian airbases.
Were they or weren’t they? According to CBS News, Washington wasn’t informed in advance by Ukraine about today’s operation, contrary to what Axios reports.
It’s highly likely that Ukraine also intended -but failed- to target Ukrainka Air Base in Russia’s Amur region today. In a photo featuring SBU chief Malyuk, a map of Ukrainka is clearly visible.

Earlier, footage emerged of a burned-out trailer—reportedly carrying drones—in the Amur region. It’s very possible these were meant for an attack on Ukrainka, one of Russia’s largest long-range strategic aviation bases in the Far East.
Russia admits Ukrainian drones hit multiple airbases—including Murmansk and Irkutsk—but tries to downplay it, calling the aircraft just "damaged" by fire. Even the Ministry of Defense can’t deny the strikes, despite labeling them "terrorist attacks."

Speaker of Ukraine’s Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, on the strikes on Russian airbases: “A modern version of the Budapest Memorandum—in action.”

He called the SBU’s brilliant Operation “Pavutyna” a step toward ensuring the aggressor state’s non-nuclear status. No target is too far when you’re defending your land.
🇳🇴 FM Espen Barth Eide on Ukraine’s drone strikes:

“Ukraine is fully within its right to strike military targets across Russia. Unlike Russia, which bombs cities and civilians, Ukraine follows international law.”

Footage shows the results of UAV operators from the National Guard’s “Chervona Kalyna” brigade: Russian armored vehicles, motorcycles, and personnel destroyed in the Pokrovsk direction. Over the past day, National Guard units eliminated 6 vehicles, 1 armored unit, 2 ammo depots, and 3 electronic warfare systems.
Ukraine's SBU claims that today’s special operation “Pavutyna” struck 34% of Russia’s strategic cruise missile carriers at key airbases. The estimated value of the damaged aviation assets is $7 billion.

They add that more details of the operation will follow shortly.
🇺🇦 “An absolutely brilliant result. A fully independent Ukrainian operation. One year, six months, and nine days from planning to execution — our longest-range operation yet. Our team was safely withdrawn from Russian territory.

These are Ukrainian actions that will be written into history books. Ukraine is defending itself, and rightly so — we are doing everything to make Russia feel the need to end this war.

Russia started it. Russia must end it.”

🇺🇦 “I thank the Security Service, General Malyuk personally, and everyone involved in the operation. It was in the works for over a year and a half — perfectly planned and executed.

This was truly a unique operation. And now I can say: the ‘office’ for this op inside Russia was located right next to an FSB headquarters.

117 drones were used, striking 34% of Russia’s strategic cruise missile carriers at key airbases. Our teams operated across multiple Russian regions and three time zones — and were safely extracted in advance."

A Russian delegation led by Vladimir Medinsky has arrived in Istanbul for the second round of talks with the Ukrainian delegation.
🇵🇱 Exit polls in Poland's presidential runoff show a razor-thin lead for Civic Platform’s Rafał Trzaskowski with 50.3% vs. 49.7% for Karol Nawrocki. The margin is too close to call, but early data mirrors first-round trends. A pivotal moment for Poland—and Ukraine.
