ISIL claimed they took over areas east of Homs after clashes with SAA forces.

HTS-led rebel forces are not stopping after taking over Hama but have already moved south and approached Ar-Rastan. They took over the SAA's engineering battalion barracks north of the city. Meanwhile, Russian aircraft target the Ar-Rastan bridge between Hama and Homs, probably to destroy it and obstruct the rebel forces in their advance.

Putin appointed State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein as acting governor of Kursk Oblast after Alexei Smirnov resigned. In a meeting, Putin emphasized the need for crisis management in the region and support for liberated territories.

Rebel forces have entered the predominantly Christian town of Maḥarda near Hama. Previously the Syrian Salvation Government (rebel forces) released a statement where HTS rebel leader Jolani assured that Christians in the city will be protected and will not face abuse.

The SDF became active south of Raqqa and captured two towns from the SAA after their withdrawal: Al-Rasafa and Maadan. Are we seeing a full SAA collapse here?
