Ukraine is grateful for the support of the United States and every American who shares our belief that freedom must never lose. And it is very important that the Congress maintains its leadership so that the defense of freedom remains a unifying idea both within countries and for the global majority. Right now, it depends on our determination, our joint actions, what the world of our children will be.

Swedish Defense Minister Paul Jonson said that now, after the country has joined NATO, it does not rule out the possibility of supplying its JAS-39 Gripen fighters to Ukraine.

Although official press releases are yet to be issued, the estimated cost of the supply contracts totals around €1.8 billion . Originally, a purchase of 800.000 shells was planned, but this number increased to 1 million during negotiations. The specific countries involved in the supply remain undisclosed, though speculation points to South Korea, Turkey, and South Africa. Accelerating the timeline, shipments are now expected to commence by April, rather than June as previously anticipated.
