Ukraine says air defenses downed or suppressed 135 of 155 Russian drones launched overnight from 18:00 on May 3, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and decoy types. Fourteen strike drones hit 10 locations, while debris fell at 4 more.

❗️Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš says he will attend the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk on June 25 to 26 after meeting Zelensky in Yerevan. He said postwar reconstruction can be a major opportunity for Czech companies.

❗️Canada will allocate a $200 million contribution to the PURL program, according to Ukrainian President Zelensky. Additionally, NATO Chief Mark Rutte confirmed that anti-missile supplies for Ukraine are continuing as previously agreed.

Russian forces killed 4 people and wounded 18 in a missile strike on Merefa, Kharkiv regional authorities said. Three injured people are in serious condition, and at least 10 homes, 4 shops, a service station, 2 vehicles and an administrative building were damaged.

Update: Russian forces killed 5 people and wounded 19 in an Iskander ballistic missile strike on Merefa, prosecutors said.

Zelensky says he held an important call with Ursula von der Leyen on Europe’s support package, including the schedule for a first tranche directed to joint drone production. They also agreed to actively move toward a possible EU Drone Deal.

Zelensky met Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico in Yerevan and said Ukraine is open to constructive dialogue with Slovakia. They discussed cooperation, a planned intergovernmental commission meeting, visit exchanges and Kyiv’s EU accession path.

Satellite images show two 50,000 m³ tanks destroyed at Russia’s Gorky oil pumping station after a drone attack on April 23. Filtration equipment and possible storage facilities were also damaged at the Transneft Upper Volga site.

Ukraine's Ministry of Defense advisor Serhii Sternenko said FP-1 drones passed through three echelons of Moscow’s defenses overnight and bypassed 101 verified air defense positions, including 10 S-400 regiments and more than 80 Pantsir and Tor systems. He published a map of the sites.

Canada is allocating another $200 million to help protect Ukraine from ballistic missile attacks, Zelensky said, thanking Prime Minister Mark Carney for additional PURL support. The funding will strengthen protection against Russian missile strikes.
