Russian losses per 06/04/26 reported by the Ukrainian General Staff

Ukrainian air defenses shot down or suppressed 114 of 141 drones launched by Russia overnight on April 6, including around 80 Shahed UAVs. Impacts were recorded at 17 locations, with debris falling at 13 sites.

Russian forces struck a residential building in Odesa, causing major destruction between the 5th and 3rd floors. At least 5 people were wounded as rescuers searched for victims under the rubble. Nearby homes were also damaged.

Update: Russians killed 3 people including a 2-year-old child, local authorities said. At least 15 were wounded, including a pregnant woman and two children. Victims suffered shrapnel wounds, burns and smoke inhalation, with some in serious condition.

Serbia rejected Hungarian claims linking Ukraine to a sabotage plot on a gas pipeline. Investigators found a US-made explosive device but emphasized that the origin of materials does not indicate the perpetrator. The investigation remains ongoing.

Ukrainian forces struck Gerbera drone crews during launch operations in occupied Donetsk region on April 5, targeting UAV operators at firing positions.

Ukrainian forces advanced toward Milove north of Dvorichna, with the 129th Mechanized Brigade conducting successful counterattacks and reclaiming territory. Ukrainian units continue to push Russian forces back, preventing them from stabilizing or regaining lost positions.

Iran’s IRGC said intelligence chief Majid Khadami was killed in an airstrike, marking the death of yet another senior figure within its intelligence structure.

Russian forces launched a motorcycle assault near Zakytne toward Sloviansk, advancing in groups of three with a total of 12 bikes. Ukrainian 81st Airmobile Brigade engaged the assault and repelled the attack.

Sweden allocated €400 million for TRIDON Mk2 air defense systems for Ukraine as part of a €1.2 billion military aid package announced in February. The system is designed to counter aerial threats, including drones such as Shahed UAVs.

Commander of Russia’s 45th Air Force and Air Defense Army, Alexander Otroshchenko, was killed in an An-26 crash in occupied Crimea on March 31, Murmansk region governor confirmed.

❗️Russian milbloggers are getting increasingly worried. They warn Ukrainian drone capabilities are rapidly advancing, striking logistics 40-80 km deep and scaling mass production, creating sustained pressure on rear areas and supply lines.

❗️Ukrainian drones struck the Russian frigate Admiral Grigorovich in Novorossiysk port overnight, targeting a Kalibr-capable vessel. Additional strikes hit the Sivash offshore drilling platform, in a coordinated operation involving drone and naval units. Damage assessments remains ongoing.

Ukrainian forces destroyed a rare Zoopark-1M counter-battery radar valued at about $24 million, with units of the 15th Brigade “Chornyi Lis” and NGU completing the strike.

Hungarian PM Viktor Orban visited the Hungary-Serbia border to inspect a key gas pipeline after an alleged sabotage attempt, calling it critical for maintaining Hungary’s energy supply.
