Gemini 2 Incentivized Testnet

Subspace Network are thrilled to announce that the Gemini 2 Incentivized Testnet is ready to go live on September 20, 2022 @ 3pm UTC!

To setup the farmer you can use:

Gemini 2 Configuration Summary
- Initial history will be set to 5 GB
- Max plot size for farming is 100 GB for each farmer node
- Additional 50 GB required to account for chain history growth

NOTE: The existing stress test network will be converted into Gemini 2 next Tuesday when rewards are turned on. This means farmers who are already synced to the "Subspace Gemini 2a" network will not have to restart their nodes or resync.

For other farmers, please use the time before Tuesday to start your node and get it synced. This is a great opportunity to have your node ready ahead of time so you can start farming rewards as soon as Gemini 2 begins on September 20.

Gemini 2 Rewards:

Milestone 1 - 25k nodes
Unlock a total of 0.05% of token supply
0.000002% of total token supply per node

Milestone 2 - 50k nodes
Unlock a total of 0.2% of token supply
0.000004% of total token supply per node

Milestone 3 - 75k nodes
Unlock a total of 0.5% of token supply
0.00000667% of total token supply per node

Some operation tips for wallet test incentive @Wallet Tester
1. Invest operation can only be delegated to one node per wallet.
2. pushpin Invest start at 99TFSC.
3. gift Each tested wallet address will share moneybag 2000 TFSC reward based on the number of transactions (both invested and traded).
4. bookmark_tabs After you download wallet and register, who can submit your info here (https://forms.gle/tF5vVwWHBTdB9fSL6) for airdrop OAT and reward distribution.
5. Any problems in the process of use, please report back to the MOD.

rotating_light Please make sure the address you provide is finishing the following requirements:
1. Successfully claim your 5000 TFSC(test) from the faucet
2. Complete at least 10 transactions (including transfer and staking ) and claim daily rewards every day during the test period.

Hey @everyone !

Thank you so much for your patience regarding testnet rewards! We are in the final stages of these rewards; we're currently double-checking the rewards calculations with an independent source, and are testing our airdrop module. We're currently on track to release these rewards by October 31st, and are aiming to put out a calculator beforehand 🧮

We've received a LOT of feedback from the community, and most of you have told us that you'd like the airdrop rewards to be vested. After much discussion, we've decided to vest the testnet airdrop linearly over 6 months (e.g. after 10 days, 10/180 of your airdrop will have vested). This means that starting October 31st, you can start claiming your airdrop, but you won't be able to transfer or use all 100% on the first day. Rest assured, you will NOT receive any fewer tokens because of the vesting, and we expect this will lead to much better long-term health for the Stride protocol.

And a friendly reminder, there are lots of ways to earn STRD, not just from the testnet! If you LP any stToken pool, you'll receive a steady dose of STRD everyday 😎
