Torrential rains have triggered the collapses of hundreds of houses in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, killing at least 12 people and injuring many more, officials said Friday.
The rain caused roofs and walls of dilapidated houses to collapse in Lucknow, the state capital.
The local meteorological office recorded 35 millimeters (1.4 inches) of torrential rain in 24 hours, Uttar Pradesh’ deputy chief minister said.

MIT climate scientist Dr. Richard Lindzen laughs at the sheer lunacy of declaring trace CO2 to be a pollutant: "What kind pollutant is it? You get rid of it and you die".
The video is reportedly a concert held in Almaty, Kazakhstan after the pope's arrival a little over a week ago.
"On February 11, 2013, Benedict gave in to his concerns about his own ability to continue an effective pontificate and resigned. A new conclave was held. This time, when a new pope came out onto the balcony at St. Peter’s Basilica on March 13, 2013, it was the same Jorge Bergoglio who was alleged to be the [Freemasons’] favored alternative to Ratzinger at the 2005 conclave. The former Cardinal Archbishop of Buenos Aires took the name Francis, the first pope to do so in Church history. Following his election, the relentless media attacks and constant criticisms [of the papacy] came nearly to an end, but those who opposed Summorum Pontificum gained new strength."

In this re-release of his EU2013 Conference talk, Rupert Sheldrake describes how science is being constricted by assumptions hardened into dogmas—all of reality is material or physical; the world is a machine, made up of inanimate matter; nature is purposeless; consciousness is nothing but the physical activity of the brain; free will is an illusion.
On January 5th, 2013, he gave this captivating hour-long lecture at EU2013 in Albuquerque—then exactly one week later his 18-minute talk at TEDxWhitechapel in London was "banned" and mired in a prolonged controversy after it was taken out of circulation by TED, relegated to a corner of their website and stamped with a warning label.
