i feel captured held against my will, like something invisible has wrapped itself around my throat, tightening slowly, intentionally. i can breathe, but only barely and every breath feels borrowed. this body doesn’t feel like mine my skin feels borrowed too, like a costume i was forced into and forgot how to remove. everything around me feels wrong, misplaced, unreal like i woke up inside someone else’s life. i don’t know what’s holding me, and i don’t even want to ask it to let go i just want my hands to find it, to grip hard and desperate, to tear it away from my neck i want it to bleed i want my nails to dig deeper and deeper,until whatever it is finally loosens, finally releases me. i want to crawl out of myself, out of this skin.i want to run with just movement, just escape. i want to feel something real, i want my face to reflect what i hide. i want to rip off this clown mask i’ve perfected, and hang it somewhere far away from me. i am exhausted the pressure keeps building, stacking, crushing, and i don’t know how much longer i can carry it without breaking. i want to scream until my throat burns, bite,fight do anything to stop the noise, the weight, the suffocation. i don’t want silence. i want release, i want to tear every piece of this skin until it releases me.

አኬልዳማ

I first stumble on the word "አኬልዳማ" when i was in elementary school, while reading bible for "the vibe" i never understand the contexts at that age but the names on bible fascinate me and the story in "የዩሀንስ ራዕይ" the thrill at that age ....anyone will understand
Anyways i told my friends that i wanted to be called አኬልዳማ , they asked for a meaning i told them "የደም መሬት" they all laughed at me......i told my dad about it and he just smiled and brush it off ......yet i still fancy it
I wanted to adopt the name,to be called አኬልዳማ ,weird right ?
Maybe it's because i am living in one , i have seen what አኬልዳማ looks like , read about how Ethiopia has been one for centuries
one time ለበኣል የተጠመቀ ጠላ ሙሉ ጆግ ስደናበር ደፋሁ ደንግጬ momን ይቅርታ ልጠይቅ ስዞር ፣ "ተዪው መሬቱ ጠምቶት ነው" አለች this saying means alot to me how can people consider the thirst of mother earth too,what a country ፣ ምን አይነት ህዝብ ነው¡
Now መሬቱስ ደም ጠምቶት ይሆን እላለሁ if so wouldn't all the blood that drenched it satisfy የእማማ ኢትዮጵያን አፈር : ነው ወይስ, ሁሉም ብሄር እና ሃይማኖት ተከታይ equivalently ሳይገብሩ አትረሰርስም
አኬልዳማ መሬት ላይ እየኖርን ሰላም እና ከጦርነት ነፃ ሃገር መመኘት ሞኝነት ይሆን?
The Bible "እጆቿን ትዘረጋለች" ያላት ደሙን እንዲያጥብላት ነው?

አሁንም እጇን ትዘረጋለች
ደም አልባ ጊዜን ትጠብቃለች........ feels like fictitious wish, but i am a dreamer, i am young ,i have the energy and time to dream till i get exhausted
