i was really focused and having fun while studying, planning to spend the whole day at the library finishing up some work i had. i thought i should charge my laptop but my laptop charger doesnβt seem to be working, and itβs only been four months since i bought it. iβve had enough.

As you age, you learn new stuff right? Not the type of stuff you get from school or books, but the type you learn from just living. And there are so many life changing lessons, true. But there are so many unpleasant realizations and informations you are forced to swallow.
The one that I found harder and more sour than most, is the fact that not everyone will show the same level of excitement and passion for the things that I believe are a common sources of pleasure and benefit.
If you haven't been keen enough to observe and learn, you'll learn it the hard way, like me. Discovering that people have their own sets of priorities, not concerning a "to do" list exactly, but concerning principles and morality was a tough work.
I've spent several nights wondering how "so and so" didn't find "this and that" as important and attention worthy as I did. Stressing over why they were so indifferent and unwilling to engage further. It's unhealthy. If you are going through this, make yourself get out of that situation. How? Well, keep reading...
Always remember, there will be as many sets of values and priorities as there are people on this planet. This is the most crucial piece to remember. This might sound like a common knowledge, but it is often forgotten.
Not everyone will show the same level of enthusiasm as we do to certain things, and that's okay. Maybe you'll find your people, maybe not. Hype yourself up, support yourself and don't be ashamed of your interests and hobbies and ideas and dreams, just because people don't value them.
