Goodbye.
It has been agood experience, at least this time I’m saying goodbye. I stopped seeing the point of it months ago. Tho i am grateful that I have met beautiful and amazing people through it. That’s the one thing I can truly appreciate. It's been bothering me, and I believe some things need to be let go. I wish I could say it’s just a channel, but the wonderful people I’ve met because of it are what I truly value.
I don't think its a place of gain anymore.
Thank you for loving the space!
Really appreciate it!

I am now realizing it serves as ultimate proof of the jokes thrown at me for being Black. 😭

Parkinson's is the most commonly associated neurodegenerative disease with Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep disorder, due to the presence of uncontrollable sometimes aggressive muscle convulsions during deep sleep. Normally, REM sleep (last stage of sleep) is characterized by high brain activity (alas the vivid dreaming) and complete muscle paralysis (people cannot be easily awakened at this stage).

A sentiment of the quote I found while I read- The Crack-Up by F. Scott Fitzgerald

On your Substack post about The Crack-Up, you said you hated relating to misery. I just want to point out that in our religion, when we read about mighty men of God succumbing into temptation and sin, going through ordeal and despair, we find hope. We learn that in this world, we share our joys, sorrows and everything in between. We realize that falling, breaking and mending are all possible.
So don't hesitate to relate to a misery you know too well. You won't be taking away anything from the other person going through the same thing. It's basically the same experience felt and dealt with differently. There is beautiful and humane solidarity in sharing both pain and pleasure.
